Methodology
At studioinkndpixel, we work in a personal, clear, and structured manner. Whether it concerns print work, corporate clothing, a website, branding, or any other creative assignment: we make clear agreements in advance regarding what we will create, what is needed for it, and which activities are part of the project.
No two projects are the same. Therefore, we tailor our approach to the scope and content of the assignment. A simple order can be processed immediately, while a website or extensive custom project consists of multiple phases.
What always remains the same is that we work based on clear agreements, complete delivery of materials, and mutual responsibility.
Request & Introduction
An assignment begins with a request via our website, email, WhatsApp, or a scheduled appointment.
We review what you need and determine the appropriate approach. For simple assignments, we can often provide a price or next step immediately. For custom work, larger orders, and creative projects, additional information may be required first. Depending on the assignment, we will discuss, for example:
- the desired product or service
- quantities and versions
- size and material
- personalization
- design wishes
- planning
- available files and content
- any additional work.
For more extensive projects, an introductory or project meeting can be scheduled.
Quote & Assignment
When the work cannot be ordered directly through our webshop, you will receive a quote or other written price agreement where necessary. In this, we define which activities are part of the assignment and what the associated costs are. Always check a quote carefully before providing approval. Work added later or that falls outside the original assignment may be charged separately.
Payment
The applicable payment terms depend on the assignment. For webshop orders and certain products, full payment in advance may be required. For larger projects, we may work with a deposit and a final payment according to the agreements in the quote. Production or work will only commence once the applicable payment conditions have been met.
Submission
For many assignments, we need files or information from the client. Think, for example, of:
- logos
- texts
- images
- product data
- names and personalization details
- sizes and quantities
- contact details
- technical files
- access details for websites.
The client is responsible for timely, complete, correct, and usable delivery. Sending a file does not automatically mean that an assignment has been fully submitted. Please also check our page on submission specifications for technical requirements.
Planning
After approval and, where applicable, receipt of payment and complete submission, the assignment can be scheduled. Lead times vary per product and project. A requested date is therefore not automatically a guaranteed delivery or completion date. If necessary information, files, feedback, approval, or payment is submitted late, the schedule may shift accordingly.
Design & Execution
When design work is part of the assignment, we develop this based on the made agreements and the information you provided. Depending on the assignment, this may, for example, consist of:
- a graphic design
- logo design
- print layout
- personalization
- website or webshop development
- advertisement or social media content
- other creative development.
Review & Corrections
For assignments where a design, digital proof, or concept is provided, you will have the opportunity to review it before we proceed. Carefully check the following:
- texts and spelling
- names
- contact details
- sizes and quantities
- colors
- images
- personalization details
- positioning
- other visible information.
Corrections must be communicated clearly and bundled together.
Approval
When your approval is required, we will only start the next step after it has been received. Therefore, always check carefully before giving your approval. After approval, changes can no longer always be implemented.
Production or Development
After the necessary approval, the assignment goes into production or the final execution is further developed. During this phase, changes may be limited or no longer possible at all.
Completion & Delivery
When the assignment is ready, we will inform you about the further handling. Physical products can be shipped or collected by appointment, depending on the agreements made. Our pick-up and drop-off location is in Zaltbommel. The exact address will be provided upon a confirmed appointment. Our registered address in Tilburg is not a freely accessible visitor or pick-up address.
Communication during an assignment
We like to keep communication organized. Therefore, please use the existing email contact or the agreed communication form for your assignment as much as possible. For short practical questions, WhatsApp can be used. Extensive changes, files, formal agreements, and important project information are preferably received via email.
Studio Ink 'nd Pixel is available by telephone by appointment only. Meetings are scheduled in advance via our online calendar.
Client Responsibility
A good collaboration works both ways. The client is, among other things, responsible for:
- correctly submitted data
- timely and complete submission
- review of designs and proofs
- timely feedback
- monitoring their own internal deadlines
- necessary permissions and usage rights
- providing necessary access or information.
Additional Work
During a project, it may become apparent that you want more work done than originally agreed. Work outside the agreed assignment is not automatically included in the original price.
Rush and Fixed Deadlines
Do you have an assignment with a hard deadline? Clearly indicate this before entering into the assignment. When work needs to be performed with priority, a rush track with additional costs and terms may apply.
Personal, but with clear agreements
studioinkndpixel consciously works without unnecessary intermediaries. You have direct contact regarding your order or project and know who to turn to with questions. At the same time, we find clear agreements important: they ensure that expectations are clear for both parties and that we can spend our time on what the assignment is ultimately about: a professional final result that you can actually use.
For specific agreements regarding payment, liability, cancellation, production, services, and other legal topics, our general terms and conditions are leading.
